Roasted Garlic Hummus

We like hummus. Trader Joe's has a ton of varieties of hummus in their refrigerated section. Yet we only bought our first container of Trader Joe's hummus this summer. How is that possible? Yeah, we have no idea why it took so long either.

We decided to go with the roasted garlic hummus ($1.99) for our first container. We had a whole box of whole grain and seed chips from Costco (great tasting and healthy chips, by the way, made by Mary's Gone Crackers) and needed something to dip them in (besides eating them with the sweet chili chevre). The hummus was good, nice and creamy, but they were right about it being "mellow roasted garlic flavor." It had a hint of garlic, but not really very much garlic flavor at all.

Buy Again? Maybe. It was pretty good hummus, but not as garlicky as we had hoped. It's also not the best hummus of its type that we've ever had. There are so many more types of hummus at TJ's to try though, so we'll probably get something new before getting this one again.
