We have been so delinquent about custard lately. I suppose that's good for our health, but not so good for our posting! We're happy to see frosted holiday cookie on the calendar this month though, and we're hoping that's the same as (or at least close to) Christmas cookie, one of our favorites.
A lot of these flavors are similar to last year's December calendar and we haven't tried them all yet (but if we have, our average score is in parentheses):
Monday - frosted holiday cookie
(we gave Christmas cookie a 9/10 before but didn't think it tasted like a frosted cookie, so we wonder if this one will be different)
Tuesday - eggnog
(never reviewed but A liked it and I didn't - same as our feelings about eggnog itself)
Wednesday - sweet potato marshmallow
(missed this one last year but we recently had a sweet potato marshmallow donut that we liked so maybe this would be good)
Thursday - chocolate pecan pie
(new to us)
Friday - jelly donut
(8.75/10 - this one is probably in our top 10 custards)
Saturday - gingerbread
(5.75/10)
Sunday - candy cane crunch
(never reviewed but we think we liked it)
