The first new custard we have tried in a long time is black & white cookie. We were really interested to see if this would be like eating an actual black and white cookie.
M's thoughts:
When I saw this custard listed, I was worried that it would just taste like a Frosty. Luckily it didn't. While I didn't think it tasted exactly like a black and white cookie, it did taste like a mix of chocolate and vanilla with a hint of something citrus, kind of like the cookie. I liked it and would get it again.
A's thoughts:
I still have no clue what a real black and white cookie is supposed to taste like, but if it tastes like this custard, I think I'd like them. I definitely tasted the chocolate and vanilla hints in the custard itself, but there was also something that I can only describe as "cookie-ish". It wasn't like a sweet, flour cookie like a chocolate chip cookie base, but it was something different. It definitely tasted like a cookie, though. I'd be interested in trying this custard again and also to get a real black and white cookie.
